Dota and GirlFriend Story Part 2

ROUND 2: “The Hero Met His Heroine”

As Andy was about to enter the internet café along with his friends, he bumped on a lady. Because of that, she dropped her things. He immediately helped her and picked them. He noticed her sweet angelic scent and her long-shiny-hair. He was even stuttered to apologize to her when he saw her pretty face. “Thank you.”, she said and left. He failed to introduce himself and just looked at her as she walked away. Since he saw her uniform, there he realized that they were in the same school. “Hey! Let’s go! Stop fantasizing, man. We still have some bunch of stupid morons inside to fry with.”, Carlos said. They went inside and played.

Since that day, Andy started searching for her. Carlos noticed that he didn’t have so much time playing with them. Their group became weak and they lose in the game and gambling most of the time because of his absence in playing. So, Carlos confronted him one day inside their classroom. “What’s up buddy? What’s the news about the girl you are looking for? You know what? You are losing yourself, man. The team misses you and needs you.” “I know, man. I am sorry but I am so in to this lady. I wish I could find her one of these days.”, Andy said. “Andy, buddy. Hear me out, man. Here is my friendly advice. When you kept look for someone or something that doesn’t want to show up, then stop for awhile and let destiny find a way.”, he said. Carlos made a tricky way to make Andy play with them again. The trick went well. He convinced Andy to play and took his advice. Andy stopped for awhile on searching for his dream girl and continued playing.

One Tuesday afternoon, as Andy was about to seat on his favorite cubicle, he saw her occupying the second to the last cubicle from where he was seating. He kept on glimpsing at her until she caught him looking at her. He quickly looked at his monitor and said, “Crap! Did she saw me?!” He suddenly smelled her scent. So, he tried to have another glimpse on her to check if she was still looking at him but she wasn’t there anymore. Confused on where was at, he stood up and looked around. “Where could she be?”, he said. Then Carlos shouted, “Andy! Get your mind set back in the game! We can’t fight these assholes alone!” “Ayt! Geez!”, he said. While he was in the middle of the game, he caught her scent again. She just passed at his back and went to her cubicle. Then he noticed something and it was the reason why she was gone awhile ago. She was with someone and he was seating beside her. She went out to buy him drinks and snacks. She even opened a bottle of water for him. They were so sweet together. He guessed that they were couples. There was somewhat triggered Andy to hate the guy and the reason was he brought her inside the internet café and just sat with him and do nothing. He could see from her eyes that she was just forcing herself to stay there. He couldn’t bear seeing her there and witnessing the trash-talks and everything that’s happening inside. Andy took a good look at the guy and recognized him. He was Jason “The Ripper”. He was Andy’s greatest adversary. The only thing that was in Andy’s mind was this line, “Jason, you prick! Why would you bring her here? You are so insensitive!” Ever since, he started nailing and defeating Jason. Jason didn’t know the reason why he was being hunted down by Andy in the game. But Jason just ignored him.

Dota and Girlfriends Story :)

When we are in a relationship, we encountered so many situations. Situations like your partner’s parents didn’t like you, your partner’s have health complications, financial problems, and many more. But there is this one condition that I want to share where most young lovers could relate.

ROUND 1: “The Birth Of The New Hero”

The story was about two young lovers, Andy and Emily. Andy was a high school graduate and so was Emily. Before they became lovers, Andy enrolled in one of the best and famous universities in Davao City. At first, he was really shy and he barely talked to his classmates. One day while he was inside the classroom waiting for their professor, one of his classmates approached him. “Hi there, buddy!” he said. And Andy responded, “Hey!” “So, where are you from?”, his classmate asked. “I am from Tagum. How about you?”, Andy replied. “I am from Agusan. Don’t you have any friends here?”, his classmate asked again. “No. I don’t have.”, Andy said. “Ok, then meet your new friend.”, his classmate said and offered a hand shake. “I am Carlos Fuentez.”, his classmate said. “Andy, Andy Santos.”, he said. Carlos called his friends and one by one he introduced them to Andy.

After their last class, Carlos invited him to go with them and play “D.O.T.A.”. Andy asked him what does D.O.T.A. means. Since D.O.T.A. or Defense of the Ancient was not that famous before, Carlos explained it to him along the way. Before they arrived at the internet café near their school, Carlos finished explaining what D.O.T.A. was all about and how to play it. Then Andy said, “So, it’s more like a strategy game, you say? Then, D.O.T.A. is my kind of game.” As they entered the café, he was shocked on what he saw inside. The people playing in there were noisy. Most of them were trash-talking and some where just laughing out loud. Some of them kept on hitting the desk and the keyboards. Then Carlos noticed his facial reaction and said, “Welcome to the battlefield, buddy. Let’s go.” He clung onto Andy and took him to their seats and played. It was 2 a.m. when they were done playing and went home. It was his first time to go home that late because of playing. But he said to himself, “It is ok. Anyway, my mother will not know about this. I live in a boarding house.”

Since that day, every after class he went out with his friend played D.O.T.A. He became, an “IMBA”, one of the best players of the game in their school. Everyone who played the game knew him and many feared him to be his opponent. This became his daily routine. But this routine became worst and he didn’t notice the changes happening in his life. He became addicted to it and hardly went to his classes and ate on time. The money he earned in secret gambling also blinded him and forced him to play more. His allowance was not enough to sustain his vice and so he tried to convince his parents to increase his allowance. He told them that there were many things to buy related to his studies such as books and school stuffs. Since his parents trusted him, they didn’t ask questions and they immediately sent him the money.

Question and Answer Portion

Q: Any specific heroes you love playing?
A: To be honest I don't normally play just one or two heroes. I like to use them all. I have a long list of favorites, so I'll only mention the ones I can actually play well with. Panda, Beastmaster, Batrider, VS, Tinker and surprisingly Necrolyte are usually the ones I do best with.

Q: What do you love most about DotA?
A: There are so many things I love about it, but what I love most is the team aspect of the game. It almost reminds me of actual sports because of the different roles the different players can play during one game, and the fact that one player will never ever win a game by himself. DotA is the epitome of a 'team game', which is why I never get tired of playing it.

Q: You're so cool, any other cool personalities in the DotA scene you like?
A: I'm really not too knowledgeable about all the people in the DotA community who are really well known. I only know a couple of big names really. I was a huge Madmortigan fan when he was casting a lot, and I'm also a big Tobi_wan_kenobi fan too. Tobi especially because of all the work he puts into the community. All the guys at GG.net are pretty awesome too.

Q: China or Europe?
A: Don't you try and bait me into a flame war you troll! Both are great, and I'd love to see the NA scene develop and put some pressure on the boys across the pond.

Q: Speaking of the NA scene, how much do you know about it?
A: Not as much as I'd like too. Consider this site an open invitation to any good NA teams who want a little publicity. I'd be happy to do interviews or publicize big matches.

Q: Would you ever consider casting one day?
A: I don't know how great of a caster I'd be, but I'd certainly love to try co-casting one day.

Q: How can the DotA community improve in your eyes?
A: Well, there is a lot of negativity in the DotA scene. The people who truly love the game are the ones who are helpful and work towards making it a better community, not the people who flame threads and shit talk in pubs. If I get asked if I'm mad one more time I might lose it.
